I Need Your Help

Hello, hello.

This summer, I have a vision to fill Valourbörn with heroes. I’ll be posting some of my favourite heroes and my reasons for loving them, but I don’t think I’ll be able to come up with enough to really fill Valourbörn the way I’d like to. That’s where you, my readers, come in.

I know that you all–every one of you–have heroes whom you admire. They might be real or fictional, people you know or people you’ve only heard about, but you’ve got at least one hero, whether you realize it or not. And I would love for you guys to share some of your favourite heroes and tell me about the people who inspire you.

This summer, I’m asking you to help me reach my goal. Write something about your favourite hero(es). It can be any length, long or short, one sentence or a page, and all I ask is for you to explain why that person is a hero, or why you think they’re born from valour. The hero can be a fictional character or a real person–someone famous, family, friends, etc.–it doesn’t matter which. Maybe they’re your childhood hero, or they inspire you now. There’s no such thing as a wrong hero, as long as they’ve inspired you.

You can send the hero profile to me by email or Word document at valourborn@gmail.com, or else post it directly on your own blog and send me a link so that I can reblog it here. And if you don’t want me to share it on Valourbörn, that’s okay too. Just let me know. I’m always happy to hear from you.

Illustrations or links to images are great too, if you’ve got any. I’ll give full credit for anything handmade.

I know you’ve all got heroes, so don’t be shy. Let’s make a connection.

Who is your hero?

May you have a wonderful evening.

-Alex

A fellow blogger, Valourbörn, is embarking on a quest this summer: to record some of the heroes that have inspired us. I’ll be responding to his prompt in the near future (i.e. when I finally figure out who to write about and sit down to do it). However, every little bit of publicity helps. Help spread the word?
